Launch with MCP on

Launch a sandbox and tick the MCP checkbox. MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, or Codex connect to your site and work on it directly. Ticking this installs the MCP adapter on WordPress 6.9 and newer β€” on older versions the checkbox is disabled.

Say what you want

In plain English: "Install Elementor and build a landing page for my bakery." Your agent installs plugins, switches themes, creates pages, posts, and menus, and uploads media β€” on your live sandbox.

Open a real site

You get a live *.wprun.site URL with a real wp-admin. Click around, share it, keep what works β€” the site deletes itself when the timer runs out.

Launch a sandbox with MCP ticked and the block comes back filled in β€” endpoint, MCP user and Application Password β€” with one button to copy it. The obvious questions.

What is MCP, and which agents support it?

The Model Context Protocol β€” the standard way AI assistants connect to real tools. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex speak it already, and any custom agent can via an MCP SDK.

I don't write code. Can I use this?

Yes. Launch a sandbox, tick the MCP checkbox, connect your assistant, and just talk. Your assistant handles the rest.

Is it a real WordPress install?

Real server β€” PHP-FPM and MySQL, real plugins from the directory, real wp-admin you can open in your browser and click around in. Not an emulator, not a screenshot preview.

What happens when the timer runs out?

The instance and everything on it is deleted. That is the point β€” every run starts clean and leaves nothing behind. Ask your agent to export anything you want to keep before the TTL hits.

Can this touch my existing site?

No. WPRun only hands your agent disposable sandboxes on *.wprun.site. Your production site is never part of the picture.

What does it cost?

The MCP server drives the same sandboxes as the rest of WPRun, so it takes a paid plan: $9/month on Pro for three sandboxes that live two days, $29/month on Agency for ten that live a week. The free plan doesn't include MCP.
