Disposable WordPress, one click away.
Trying a plugin, a theme, or an idea should not mean buying hosting, installing WordPress locally, or touching a site people depend on. wp.run hands you a real WordPress in seconds — and takes it back when you are done.
01 — Mission
Why wp.run exists
Every WordPress question starts the same way. Does this plugin conflict with that one? How does this theme actually feel to edit? Will any of it still work on PHP 8.4? And every one of those questions used to cost an hour of setup before you could even begin — a local stack, a hosting account, a database, one more fresh install to throw away later.
wp.run deletes that hour. One click and a real WordPress is running, with wp-admin credentials waiting for you. Test what you came to test, send the link if someone else needs to see it, and let the timer handle the rest. Nothing to clean up, nothing left behind, nothing installed on your machine.
02 — Difference
What makes wp.run different
A real WordPress you control
Full wp-admin with generated credentials and WP-CLI on the box. Install, activate, misconfigure, and start over — it is your site for as long as it lives.
Nothing to sign up for
No account, no credit card, nothing to install. The path from "I want to try this" to a running site is a single click.
Disposable on purpose
Every sandbox deletes itself on a timer you choose. That is not a limit we plan to remove — starting from a clean install every time is the whole point.
Built to be linked
A launch URL carries your PHP version, WordPress version, plugins, and theme in the query string. Drop it in a README, your docs, or a support ticket — or let an AI agent open sandboxes for you over MCP.
03 — How it works
From click to clean slate
The whole life of a wp.run sandbox, start to finish.
-
Launch
Click once for a clean install, or open a launch URL that already carries the PHP version, WordPress version, plugins, and theme you want.
-
Work
Sign in to a real wp-admin with generated credentials. Add plugins from the WordPress.org directory, switch themes, import content, run WP-CLI.
-
Share
Every sandbox gets its own temporary *.wprun.site address — send it to a teammate, a client, or a customer who wants to try before they buy.
-
Expire
When the timer runs out, the sandbox and everything on it is deleted. The next run starts from a clean install again.
A clean WordPress is one click away
No account, no credit card, nothing to install. Launch one now — or tell us what you are building and what you need it to do.
